Performing together for the 20th consecutive year, the brass and organ concert features Grant Peters and Tim Wootton, trumpet, William Hartman, trombone, Lisa Casey, horn, Bob Swanson, bass trombone, and Sibyl Sharp, organ. Sibyl, a former Dean of the Springfield Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, is celebrating her 20th year as organist at King’s Way. This exciting program features the majestic sounds of the 55 rank Casavant organ playing with the five brass instruments, and presenting music that will delight any audience.

A plethora of pianists pair to entertain you with duo repertoire ranging from playful to sublime. Piano duo returns to the concert series for the seventh year. Come and enjoy the variety of personalities and styles!

Organist at Covenant Presbyterian Church and Dean of the Springfield Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, will delight you with selections of carols that will tell the story of the shepherds, the angels, Bethlehem, the birth, and the joyful celebration of the season.

Thursday, December 13 – 1pm 
King’s Way Organist, Sibyl Sharp, will play your favorite Christmas songs and carols in anticipation of Christ’s birth, worship, and joy.



Sunday, January 13 – 3pm
You can almost feel the sultry breeze in New Orleans as your toes tap to Dixieland classics, Spirituals, Blues and some playful arrangements by band leader John Prescott. This six piece fun loving band invites you to join them!

Sunday, February 17 - 3pm
King’s Way combines with other Methodist choirs to raise voices to the Glory of God! Each church choir director will conduct the combined choirs, & finale will be conducted by Andrew Homburg. Join us for an afternoon of Methodist Medley.

Sibyl Sharp and Dr. Sharina Smith present a unique presentation blending visual and musical arts. Music and visual art require a creative expression, use space and form, beauty and color. Both music and color may express emotions or ideas. Join us to experience a harmony of the arts.

The trumpet and organ duo of Chuck Seipp and Randall Sheets has become well-known throughout the Eastern United States for providing a varied program ranging from classical to pop to patriotic. Trumpeter Chuck Seipp, formerly a member of the United States Army Band, “Pershing’s Own,” is now on the Faculty of the Shenandoah University Conservatory of Music Organist Randall Sheets serves as Ceremonial Organist for Arlington National Cemetery where he performs over 600 services a year in the Old Post Chapel as well as in other locations. Together, Seipp and Sheets create a spectacular musical collaboration.
