Safety Policy

We believe your child’s safety is of the utmost importance.

The Children’s Wing is separated from the rest of the church campus by a set of locked double doors, accessible by a pager system. All doors leading to the Children’s wing are locked during the day.

All Kingswood employees must successfully clear state and nationwide background checks. Additionally, they must complete the United Methodist Church’s Safe Gatherings Training. King’s Way UMC staff must also pass background checks and receive Safe Gatherings Training.
